To produce Cuvée Cléo saignée rosé, our Cellar Master, Laurent Etienne, has delectably selected several very old plots of pinot meunier, an archetypal Champagne grape type. This wine is only produced in years when the harvest is at its finest and in small quantities (2,000 to 3,000 bottles). Tasting it is like dipping into a basket of perfectly ripe red fruits, underpinned by delicately spice nuances. A wine with a strong character, off the beaten track.
